I've worked with over 30 small businesses -- from film production to law firms, from photo retouching to fashion -- and non-profits -- from re-entry services to loans for women entrepreneurs, from speakers bureau to impact campaigns. 

In a multitude of ways - from budget presentation to end of year appeal emails - I clarify the story of the organization's work and identify the impact they are delivering.

With that clarity, I've streamlined their content, and crafted websites & reports that communicate that identity to their partners, funders, and clients. As well as designing and planning events that raise their visibility while serving their community and their clients.  

Presenting Quarterly Financials to the Board of Directors

Budgets and Actuals tell a story of the work of an org, its vision, its plans, and how those ideas are shaping up. Pulling out the narrative for decision makers is an important strategic part of messaging.

Revamped Website & Messaging for Non-Profit

As the lead Designer of this new website, I began my work with lengthy listening sessions with the Executive Director about the org's philosophy, its work, and its goals. I read grants and program reports to understand the scope of the mission & vision. 

Clarified the messaging for this non profit, designed & built a website to highlight the intersections of Systemic Change, Program Initiatives, and Collective Impact.

Bridging the Messaging Gap from Non Profits to For Profits

In order to publicize the report on a non-profit pilot initiative, I created a one-pager highlighting the benefits to employers and small businesses.

Built a website, with a calendar feature for bookings, and a newsletter to build relationships with returning renters.

Planning a 2-Day Summit for Cross-Collaboration

As the lead Event Planner for this Summit, I assembled an advisory committee to gather perspectives on the industry and its needs. I worked with the Executive Director to translate his goals into programming, an invite list, and deliverables for the Summit.

Planned and executed a 2-day in person summit, bringing together 90 public and private sector colleagues to brainstorm on the future of ReEntry Services.
