Sharing a non-profit's evolving mission

Working with Healthy Food For All this season has been - in part - about capturing their evolving mission, and sharing it with their community. First, we had to sort out the narrative - what had prompted the change, how was it decided, what does it mean for the org - and also how to write the story in a way that is visceral, where the reader understands the grappling with a new path forward, and the fierce dedication to justice that led to this develpment.


We had planned to share the update to our communty in a newsletter, but realized it was too long for an email. So we opted intsead for a headline & summary in the newsletter, and I designed a crystalized mission announcement that was beautiful to read, compelling, full of engaging images, and easy to digest.


I'm so proud of how it turned out.
